Nothing can break your heart more than when you see the parents of a missing child desperately searching, pleading and praying to be reunited again. What hurts even more is to see their faces when a body has been discovered. Last Friday, news came out that Nadia Bloom, age 11 was missing. Nadia also has an autism related disorder. She was last seen riding her bike and authorities were alerted when they found the young girls helmet & bike on the side of the road. While the first thing that comes to mind when you read these cases are child rape & murder, but after her sister expressed Nadia's love nature and adventure, there was hope she wondering around in the area. FIVE days later, family friend, James King found her in a dry patch of an alligator infested swamp area. After taking rescuers almost 2 hours to pull her out, Nadia stated "I'm glad you guys found me" and "I can't believe you guys rescued me."It is truly a miracle that ever 5 days alone in the woods, an 11 yr old can come out suffering only from dehydration and mosquito bites. The family has requested privacy for now but all that is really important is that Nadia is safe. Family, friends and community members are overwhelmed with joy. Those who did not believe in miracles before, do now.
